Make a Signature 50 KB or Less

When a form caps the file size

Exam boards and government portals almost always set a maximum file size for the signature — commonly 50 KB, sometimes as low as 10 or 20 KB. A normal phone photo is hundreds of kilobytes, so it's rejected outright. You need the same signature in a much smaller file.

This tool opens the page already targeting 50 KB. It cleans and trims the signature, then encodes it as JPG (or WebP) and automatically lowers the quality — and gently downscales if it has to — until the file fits under your limit, while keeping the ink clearly readable.

How to get a signature under 50 KB

JPG fits a KB limit; PNG often doesn't

A target file size works by trading image quality, which only JPG and WebP can do — so the tool switches to JPG with a white background for KB targets. If the form insists on PNG, resize the signature smaller instead to bring the size down.
