Make a QR code in seconds
A QR code is a square barcode that a phone camera can read instantly. This generator turns whatever you need — a website link, a Wi-Fi network, plain text, an email, a phone number, or an SMS — into a clean, scannable code you can download and use anywhere.

How to generate a QR code
- Pick a content type. Choose Link, Text, Wi-Fi, Email, Phone, or SMS at the top of the generator.
- Enter your content. Type the link or details — the preview updates live as you type.
- Style it (optional). Set the foreground and background colours, the size, and the quiet-zone margin.
- Download. Save it as a PNG image or an SVG vector and use it anywhere.
Test before you print
Always scan your finished code with a couple of phones before printing it large. Keep a good contrast between the foreground and background (dark code on a light background scans best), and leave the quiet-zone margin in place so cameras can lock on.

Den richtigen Typ wählen
- Für eine Website ist der Typ Link am besten, weil Telefonkameras eine erkannte URL mit einem einzigen Tippen öffnen, während dieselbe Adresse als Klartext nur angezeigt wird.
- Telefon-, SMS- und E-Mail-Codes verwenden die Standard-URI-Schemata tel:, SMSTO: und mailto:, sodass sie die Wählhilfe, das Nachrichten- oder das Mail-Programm auf praktisch jedem modernen Telefon auslösen.
- Längere Inhalte ergeben einen dichteren Code mit mehr Modulen, der größer gedruckt werden muss, um scannbar zu bleiben — halte URLs kurz (oder nutze deinen eigenen Kurzlink) für ein saubereres Muster.
- WLAN-Codes betten das Passwort im Klartext in das Bild ein, also behandle einen gedruckten WLAN-QR wie ein aufgeschriebenes Passwort und veröffentliche ihn nicht öffentlich.
