Every app icon size from one image

Shipping an app means exporting your icon at a dozen-plus sizes. This generator does it in one step: the full iOS set (40–1024 px, including the App Store marketing icon) and the Android set (mdpi through xxxhdpi mipmaps plus the 512 px Play Store icon), organized into ios/ and android/ folders inside the zip.

Add a background color so transparent logos sit on a solid tile (iOS does not allow transparency in app icons), and use rounded-corner preview to see how the mark reads. Everything renders on your device.

How to generate app icons

  1. Add your icon art — a high-resolution square PNG or an SVG works best.
  2. Pick a background — choose a solid color for iOS, since app icons can't be transparent there.
  3. Switch to App icons — the tool renders the full iOS and Android size set.
  4. Download the zip — drag the ios/ PNGs into Xcode and the android/ mipmaps into your res/ folders.

Tip: no transparency for iOS

iOS app icons must be fully opaque — the system applies its own rounded mask. Set a solid background here so your exported icons are accepted by Xcode and the App Store.

Format & container

Exportieren Sie aus einem hochauflösenden quadratischen PNG oder einem SVG, damit selbst das 1024-px-App-Store-Symbol scharf bleibt; iOS-App-Symbole müssen vollständig deckend sein (das System legt seine eigene abgerundete Maske an), legen Sie also einen deckenden Hintergrund fest.

Tip

Runden Sie die Ecken nicht im Voraus ab und fügen Sie für iOS keine Transparenz hinzu: Das System maskiert das Symbol selbst, daher akzeptieren Xcode und der App Store eine quadratische, vollständig deckende Kachel.

Which app icon sizes are included?

iOS: 40, 58, 60, 76, 80, 87, 120, 152, 167, 180, and 1024 px. Android: 48, 72, 96, 144, and 192 px mipmaps plus a 512 px Play Store icon. They're sorted into ios/ and android/ folders in the zip.

Do I need a solid background?

For iOS, yes — app icons can't be transparent. For Android adaptive icons a solid or padded background also helps. Set a color and a little padding before exporting.

Where are the icons generated?

Can I also make a web favicon here?
