Why a before/after slider?

A before/after slider is the most intuitive way to show a change: one image sits on top of the other, and a divider you drag wipes between them. It's perfect for editing reveals, retouching, restoration, room makeovers, design iterations, and any 'look what changed' moment.

This slider works entirely in your browser. Drop the original into slot A and the edited version into slot B, then drag left and right to compare. When you're happy, export the result as a single image — either a frozen snapshot at the current divider position, or a side-by-side composite with both images in full.

How to make a before/after slider

  1. Add two images. Drop the 'before' into slot A and the 'after' into slot B.
  2. Drag the divider. Slide left and right to reveal each image. The divider handle is touch-friendly on phones.
  3. Choose an export layout. Pick a slider snapshot (frozen at the divider) or a side-by-side composite.
  4. Download. Save the before/after image as a PNG or JPG.

Snapshot vs side-by-side

A slider snapshot captures the exact divider position with a thin line down the middle — great for a single dramatic reveal. A side-by-side composite shows both images in full next to each other, which is clearer when the change is spread across the whole frame.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

Can I export the before/after as one image?

Yes. Choose the slider snapshot or the side-by-side layout, then download a single PNG or JPG.

Do both images need to be the same size?

They don't have to be. The composite is built on a canvas sized to the larger image so neither is cropped.

Does it work on touch screens?

Yes. The divider is draggable with a finger, and the layout adapts to small screens.

Where are my images processed?
