A branded QR code that still scans

Adding a logo to the centre of a QR code makes it instantly recognisable and on-brand — great for business cards, packaging, posters, and menus. This tool places your logo in the middle with a clean background pad so it sits cleanly over the pattern.

The trick to a logo code that still scans is error correction. QR codes can rebuild data that is covered or damaged; at the highest level (H) about 30% of the code can be obscured and it still reads. This tool switches to H automatically when you add a logo, so your branding never breaks the scan.

How to add a logo to a QR code

  1. Enter your content. Add the link or details for the code in the generator above.
  2. Add your logo. Open the Logo section and upload a PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG. It drops into the centre.
  3. Keep error correction at H. The tool sets H for you — leave it there so the code stays readable.
  4. Size and download. Adjust the logo size if needed, then download as PNG or SVG.

Keep the logo small and high-contrast

A logo that covers more than about a third of the code can stop it scanning. Keep the logo size modest, use a simple high-contrast mark, and always test the finished code with a phone before you publish or print it.

常见问题

Will a logo stop my QR code from scanning?

Not if you keep it modest and use high error correction. This tool sets the level to H automatically when you add a logo, so up to about 30% can be covered and it still reads.

What logo formats can I use?

PNG, JPG, WebP, and SVG. A PNG or SVG with a transparent or solid background usually looks best in the centre pad.

Can I download a logo QR code as SVG?

Yes. The logo is embedded into the SVG as well as the PNG, so you can scale it to any size.

Where is my image processed?

Building or reading a QR code happens in your browser, so the file is created on your own device. How any data associated with the tool is handled is described in our privacy policy.
